Meet Dr. Kristin Nguyen (Dallas, TX)

Kristin Nguyen, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in May 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas A&M University in College Station in May 2018.

Dr. Nguyen is a dedicated optometrist with a special interest in Primary Care and Contact Lenses. She practices at Vision Arora and Optique, where she is known for her compassionate approach to patient care.

Her passion for optometry was sparked during her time volunteering at Mission Arlington, a non-profit organization serving underprivileged families. It was there that she witnessed the profound impact of vision care on people's lives. A volunteer optometrist’s uplifting attitude and the gratitude of patients inspired Dr. Nguyen to pursue a career in optometry.

What Dr. Nguyen enjoys most about being an optometrist is building trust with her patients and learning about their unique backgrounds and cultures. She believes that life is hard enough, and ensuring that her patients have clear vision makes their everyday lives and jobs easier.

Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen values spending time with her family and friends, as well as exploring new places around the world. She enjoys trying new restaurants in the city and spending quality time with her cat, Jasper.
